Dr. Kevin Johnson has dedicated his life to helping individuals and communities grow through education, mentorship, and leadership. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education and student development, he has served in key roles across respected institutions, working to create opportunities, strengthen communities, and prepare future leaders. As a professor and administrator at Florida Memorial University, Dr. Johnson continues to connect education with real world success while fostering meaningful partnerships throughout South Florida. Beyond his professional career, he has mentored young people as a collegiate women’s basketball coach and through his podcast, promoting leadership and financial literacy. A recognized community leader and public servant with the City of Dania Beach, Dr. Johnson is now stepping forward with a vision to guide the city’s future focused on responsible growth, stronger infrastructure, increased community engagement, and expanded opportunities for residents.
